I'm Nina McAviney, a Computer Software Development diploma graduate from NAIT, with a passion for backend development and database design. My journey into software development started with a love for problem-solving and creating meaningful systems that make life easier.

My studies provided hands-on experience with relational databases and full-stack development, solidifying my interest in backend development. I'm drawn to its crucial role in powering the user experience, and I am interested in exploring related fields like cloud computing and DevOps, which are constantly evolving with exciting new technologies.

When I'm not coding, I'm likely to be found curled up on the couch with a good horror movie. I also enjoy the relaxation of gardening and practicing the art of espresso brewing. As a tech enthusiast, I'm always tinkering with home automation projects and finding ways to optimize my home network, including self-hosting services like Plex.
